Sam Smith has announced that their fourth studio album, Gloria, is available for pre-order and will be released early on in 2023. “I’m feeling overwhelmed and emotional as I start to let go of Gloria and hand this work over to you,” they wrote on Instagram. “It has been magical in every way to make this piece of music and by giving this record to you I am giving you part of my heart and soul.” The 30-year-old further explained that the new music got them “through some dark times and was a beacon for me in my life.” “I hope it can be that for you,” added Smith. “Thank you for waiting so long.
Only a few months now.” Gloria will be made up of 13 tracks, including the singles Love Me More and Unholy. The latter track, which features Kim Petras, has been a global smash hit – peaking at number one and two in the UK and US, respectively.
It became their eight chart-topper in the UK, racking up 5.9 million streams in its first week alone there. The other track names are yet to be announced by Smith. Gloria will be released on 27 January and is available to pre-save on Apple Music below or by clicking here.
