Sam Thompson shut down rumours that his girlfriend Zara McDermott is pregnant. It comes after Sam's sister Louise Thompson accidentally sparked baby speculation after sharing a photo of a card she received from the couple.

Taking to Instagram, Louise, who recently shared that she has had a stoma bag fitted, shared a snap of an envelope addressed to 'Auntie Louise', to which she added the text: "Am I missing something? [baby emoji]" Following this, fans were immediately convinced that she had inadvertently announced that Zara is pregnant.

However, Sam has now put these rumours to rest, explaining that the card was supposed to be from their pet cats Albus and Cedric.

Speaking to MailOnline, Sam explained: "In terms of the auntie card, as embarrassing as it is, that was from the cats! We did a little cat paw as a signature." Last year Sam shared that while they would like to welcome children someday they're in no rush to do so anytime soon.
