It is a sad indictment of our society that history omits so many remarkable and inspirational women. Examples of great untold stories include the brave undercover journalist who exposed poverty in the early 1900s and the teenage boxer who trained many of the great fighters of the 1920s.

But change is in the air as we mark International Women’s Day.
