The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He bought the Miss Universe brand of beauty pageants in 1996, and sold it in 2015. He produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television series, from 2003 to 2015. As of 2020, Forbes estimated his net worth to be $2.1 billion.[

Joseph Robinette Biden is an American politician who served as the 47th vice president of the United States from 2009 to 2017. He represented Delaware in the U.S. Senate from 1973 to 2009. A member of the Democratic Party, Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee for the 2020 United States presidential election, running against incumbent Donald Trump. Biden unsuccessfully sought the Democratic nomination in 1988 and 2008.

Four years ago, the paper urged its readers not to vote for Trump, but stopped short of throwing its support behind Hillary Clinton. (Which is kinda the problem with 2016!) From the editorial: For nearly four decades, the Editorial Board has stood for certain core values: truth, accountability, civility in public discourse, opposition to racism, common-ground solutions to the nation’s problems, and steadfast support for First Amendment rights.
