A former contestant on The Weakest Link has accused the show's host Anne Robinson of giving him a "public flogging" and mocked his sexuality when he appeared on the series.
Benjamin Butterworth filmed an appearance on the BBC show back in 2010 when he was just 18 years old. He has now written about his experiences for inews.co.uk and claimed host Anne - who was announced as the new host of Countdown this week - made fun of him for being gay.
The scenes were not shown during the TV broadcast, but Benjamin claims he was riddled with anxiety for a month after filming because he was so worried about his exchange with the presenter would be seen by all his friends and family.
