A former contestant on The Weakest Link has accused the show's host Anne Robinson of giving him a "public flogging" and mocked his sexuality when he appeared on the series.

The scenes were not shown during the TV broadcast, but Benjamin claims he was riddled with anxiety for a month after filming because he was so worried about his exchange with the presenter would be seen by all his friends and family.
