A League of Their Own is returning to the screen in a whole new way…and we’ve got the newly released trailer to prove it! The beloved 1992 film — which starred Geena Davis, Lori Petty, Rosie O’Donnell, Tom Hanks and Madonna — has been rebooted and revamped into the highly anticipated Amazon Prime series of the same name.Created by Broad City’s Abbi Jacobson and Will Graham, the eight-episode series stars Jacobson herself in addition to Roberta Colindrez, D’Arcy Carden, Kate Berlant, Nick Offerman, and O’Donnell (in a role that has not been disclosed yet).Similar to the film, the series will follow the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, which formed in the mid-1940s while men were fighting in World War II.
