The site will shut down completely on September 5. It's clear this is the effect of such laws as SESTA/FOSTA on consensual pornography — meant to curb human trafficking and child porn, SESTA/FOSTA and the ripples made have made Tumblr unvisitable, led to eBay banning anything suggestive and now this.

Going online and reading the jubilant tweets from people who fancy themselves to be warriors against sex trafficking is not unlike a wade through the QAnon depths.
