A care home boss told staff not to give residents biscuits or fruit and to cut their portion sizes, a fitness to practise hearing was told.
Debra Lewis also banned frail residents with dementia from having dessert if they didn't finish their main course at the plush £600-a-week care home.
In January 2019 staff at a care home in Cardiff raised concerns about the behaviour of Ms Lewis, who had managed the home for adults with dementia for more than four years.
At the hearing seven witnesses provided statements, including six members of staff and a manager at another home who investigated the claims, who described a culture of blame and bullying at Ty Draw &Wentworth Lodge Home in Penylan.
