Big Boys has been confirmed to return for a second season. Released to widespread critical acclaim earlier this year, the British sitcom stars Dylan Llewellyn and Jon Pointing as Jack and Danny, respectively, first-year university students who live together in a disused shed on campus.

Set in 2013, Jack is a shy, closeted journalism student coming to terms with his father’s death and Danny is a confident “lad”-type who tries to drag Jack out of his comfort zone, while dealing with his own mental health issues.

Llewellyn’s character is a semi-fictionalised version of Jack Rooke, who created and wrote the series and also serves as narrator.
