mirror.co.ukJohn Barrowman has told that the next Doctor could be gay or bisexual. The Captain Jack Harkness star, who's come in and out of the BBC time-travelling romp since its 2005 reboot, said that the Doctor's sexuality "doesn't matter" to the audience.
John, who last year landed a spot on the Dancing On Ice judges' bench, also refused to rule out a romance between him and the titular Time Lord.
The Doctor - an alien who can change his/her face - is recast every three or so series.
