Drag Race star Princess Poppy has opened up about her future as a drag entertainer. If you’ve been keeping up with the 15th season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, then you’ve heard of the San Francisco-based talent.

After sashaying away from the series during the third episode, Poppy took a step back from social media and the drag world as a whole.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the beloved drag performer gave further insight into her extended absence and what she reflected on during that time.  “I want to fall off the face of the planet.

I don’t want to be famous, I want to fade into obscurity,” Poppy explained.  “That’s not a bad thing. I think people put so much emphasis on success and fame, and it’s okay to not want to be famous.  “It’s totally valid to not want to be known by a bunch of people.
