In the video, directed and edited by Eamon Foley, Seth picks up my debut novel Boy Culture from 1995 (new edition here). I'm in good company — also visible are books by Barney Frank and Andrew Tobias.

Seth told me mine was his first gay novel, and he remembers being nervous buying it. For me, my first gay book was The Gay Book of Days, which I still treasure.
