Heartstopper has revealed further details about the cast of its second season as production for the hit Netflix series continues.
Based on the beloved webcomic and graphic novel of the same name from Alice Oseman, the queer teen drama follows Charlie Spring (Joe Locke), a “high-strung, openly gay overthinker,” and Nick (Kit Connor), “a cheerful, soft-hearted rugby player”.
Thibault De Montalembert will play Stephane, Nick’s father, with Bel Priestley joining as Naomi and Ash Self as Felix – both of which will be “new friends of Elle,” according to the streaming giant. “Words can’t describe how grateful I am for this opportunity,” Priestley wrote on Instagram after the announcement on 4 November.
Returning for the highly anticipated episodes will be Chetna Pandya as Coach Singh, Fisayo Akinade as Mr Ajayi, Alan Turkington as Mr Lange and Olivia Colman as Sarah Nelson.
