Based on the beloved webcomic and graphic novel of the same name from Alice Oseman, the queer teen drama follows Charlie Spring (Joe Locke), a “high-strung, openly gay overthinker,” and Nick (Kit Connor), “a cheerful, soft-hearted rugby player”.
Thibault De Montalembert will play Stephane, Nick’s father, with Bel Priestley joining as Naomi and Ash Self as Felix – both of which will be “new friends of Elle,” according to the streaming giant. “Words can’t describe how grateful I am for this opportunity,” Priestley wrote on Instagram after the announcement on 4 November.
