Hilary Duff has recreated a 2008 commercial she did for an LGBTQ+ anti-bullying campaign with Pentatonix star Scott Hoying and his fiancé.

The Lizzie McGuire star collaborated with Hoying and his partner, Mark Manio, on the Instagram Reel. Duff participated in the 2008 initiative, ThinkB4YouSpeak.

The commercial aimed to tackle bullying against LGBTQ+ people. In the original clip, Duff corrected two girls who used ‘gay’ in a negative way.

The recreated version, posted to Duff’s Instagram on 23 September, Hoying and Manio assumed the roles of the girls. In the scene, Hoying is tried on a top, when Manio stated: “That’s so gay”, to which the a capella singer responded “Really?” “Yeah, that’s so gay,” Manio reaffirmed.
