Skittles Launches Gray Pride Packs Featuring Designs by LGBTQ+ Artists

Skittles is sucking all the color out of its chewy candies once again in celebration of Pride month — or, as they put it, “giving up the rainbow to celebrate the one that matters.” All-gray Skittle packs will be hitting shelves for the third year in a row, but with new, creative packaging designed by LGBTQ artists.

Mia Saine, Chi Nwosu, Kah Yangni, Meg Lee, and the team of Ashley Molesso and Chess Needham designed unique and colorful packaging to contrast the usual gray that signifies Pride for Skittles.

Each pack will feature a scannable QR code that takes the purchaser to a website offering up more information on the artists.

And the company isn’t just boosting LGBTQ artists, they’re giving back to the community too — $1 for every Skittles Pride pack purchased will go to GLAAD. "At Mars we believe that in the world we want tomorrow society is inclusive.
