Exhibiting his best “don’t-make-me-turn-this-plane-around” dad vibes, a Southwest Airlines pilot recently used the plane’s intercom to admonish an unidentified passenger to stop sending inappropriate NSFW pics to his cell phone.
Video of the incident captured by TikTok user @teighmars has since gone viral with over 2.2 million views.The naughty AirDrop took place while the otherwise unindentified Southwest Airlines jet waited on the tarmac for its departure to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Taking a page from the fatherhood playbook, the exasperated pilot made it clear from his cockpit that this was one daddy of an aviator the passengers did not want to stop the plane and come back into the cabin.“So here’s the deal, if this continues while we’re on the ground, I’m going to have to pull back to the gate, everybody’s going to have to get off, we’re going to have to get security involved, and [your] vacation is going to be ruined,” warned the pilot in a viral video of the sordid affair. “So you folks, whatever that AirDrop thing is, quit sending naked pictures, and let’s get yourself to Cabo.” In a statement to the NY Post, a spokesperson for Southwest Airlines said, “The safety, security, and wellbeing of Customers and Employees is the Southwest Team’s highest priority at all times.
