Stacey Solomon, 32, has insisted she has nothing against the monachy, after a resurfaced clip swirled around the internet where she appears to dismiss the Royal Family, from 2018.
But in a new interview, the star has said she has no issues with the British Royals, despite saying previously that she doesn't "get the obsession".The clip was rediscovered on social media shortly after Queen Elizabeth II's death was confirmed by Buckingham Palace.
Stacey explained it was hard to see the clip regurgitated a week before Her Majesty's funeral, as she "didn't say it on the Queen's passing."Talking to The Guardian, the singer said the video had been misrepresented.
She explained: "I have nothing against the monarchy and the Queen seemed like a lovely lady."She went on to clarify the points she was making in the original discussion on the ITV panel show. The star had made the point that members of the Royal Family were receiving public funds, when they didn't appear to have much need for it.
