You may not be able to buy the whole town of Schitt’s Creek but you can at least buy the Rosebud Motel. The motel was the major location for the multi-award winning Canadian TV series which ended this year after six seasons.
The comedy focuses on the millionaire Rose family, who bought the town of Schitt’s Creek as a joke but lose their fortune and have to move into the motel.
Schitt’s Creek became a major hit on Netflix and won accolades for its LGBT+ representation. The final episode featured the wedding of pansexual character David Rose to his partner, Patrick.
Now the Rosebud is up for sale, for CA$2million. The property is called the Hockley Motel in real life and is 87 kilometres northwest of Toronto in Hockley Valley, Ontario.
