gay couple were subjected to 'vile' homophobic abuse by a group of 'disruptive' yobs at a cinema screening. Staff at VUE Cinema Bury were forced to stop the movie half way through after the group started hurling insults at the two men and other customers on Saturday night (October 15).
The youngsters had bought tickets for the 10.15pm showing of Halloween Ends and were repeatedly told off by theatre employees for talking and causing a nuisance throughout the film.
Roughly an hour into the screening, the group were eventually asked to leave by security staff, Manchester Evening News reports.
One gay couple, who have asked not to be identified, say they had homophobic slurs shouted at them before the troublesome customers left and the film continued.
