Survivor alum Zeke Smith, 34, proposed to his partner, actor Nico Santos, 42, on stage at the event.There was some logic to Smith’s choice of proposal venue: The two actually met at the GLAAD media awards in 2018!Related: Nico Santos isn’t afraid to play the “sissy”To screams and cheers from the audience, Smith got down on one knee at the Beverly Hilton Hotel to pop the question.
An emotional Santos immediately nodded ‘yes’. You can watch it below.Both later posted a photo to their respective Instagram profiles.“I said yes.
You have my heart forever,” said Superstore actor Santos in his caption.Smith competed on back-to-back seasons of Survivor in 2016 and 2017.
He was outed as transgender by a fellow contestant in 2017.
