It’s been a great time for Westlife fans as of late with an album announcement, a world tour, and now, the release of a new single, My Hero, that comes following the beloved boyband’s powerful closing performance at the Pride Of Britain Awards Thursday night.
The soul-stirring number from the foursome’s upcoming album Wild Dreams was played to more than five million viewers during the inspirational finale of the famous awards ceremony.
The band’s members, Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne, revealed the song was written alongside Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac, and that it held ‘strong significance’ to them.
