In a recent Variety cover feature, Billie Eilish spoke about her complicated feelings about women, saying she often felt that women didn't like her. "I have deep connections with women in my life, the friends in my life, the family in my life," she said in the magazine's "Hitmakers" issue. "I’m physically attracted to them.
But I’m also so intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence." On Saturday Variety celebrated the release of the “Hitmakers” issue with a brunch in Los Angeles.
Eilish attended the event and spoke to one of the magazine's reporters on the red carpet. The reporter asked Eilish if she had intended to "come out" in the profile, to which Eilish explained that she didn't really think that she had and that she doesn't see it as a big deal, either way.
