#BringBackBrightonDome, part of a national initiative by Theatres Trust to prevent the permanent closure of hundreds of UK theatres, has launched today to raise £25,000 to help bring live performances back to the Brighton Dome and the Brighton Festival.Brighton Dome, currently closed for live events due to the coronavirus pandemic, is a registered charity and engages with over half a million people every year with three venues, a large annual arts festival and two music education services. The closure of Brighton Dome venues in March, and the cancellation of Brighton Festival 2020, meant that the organisation lost 67% of its self-generated income through ticket sales and events.
