It is often those most vulnerable who fare the worst in times of crisis. This is particularly true for LGBTQ+ asylum claimants.
Prior to the pandemic, asylum claimants already faced many challenges. As a country we have a moral and legal obligation to give sanctuary to those fleeing persecution.
