Dall’Uefa nessuna sanzione a Neuer per la fascia rainbow: «Sta promuovendo una buona causa»

Dopo aver aperto un’inchiesta a carico della Federcalcio tedesca (Dfb) e del capitano della nazionale Manuel Neuer per aver indossato al braccio una fascia arcobaleno durante le ultime partite Germania-Francia e Germania-Portogallo nell’ambito campionato europeo, la Uefa non irrogherà alcuna multa sanzionatoria.

La società, che in un primo tempo aveva paventato il rischio di un’interpretazione politica del gesto, ha infatti stabilito che Neuer «sta promuovendo una buona causa».

Già in gennaio il calciatore, che gioca come portiere nel Bayern Monaco, aveva indossato la fascia rainbow nell’ambito di una campagna del club per promuovere tolleranza e diversità.
