RuPaul’s Drag Race will air a reunion after all! According to guest judge Ts Madison, the cast of season 16 will reunite to “spill ALL the tea” this July at DragCon LA for a live taping of Bring Back My Girls, which airs on WOW Presents Plus.
This will mark the fourth season of Bring Back My Girls. Madison has previously hosted reunions for seasons of the Drag Race US, UK, Canada, Holland, Philippines and Down Under franchises. “Saturday, July 20 – Our #DragRace Season 16 cast reunites to spill ALL the tea,” she wrote in her caption. “Drop your questions in the comments and they might be asked during the LIVE taping of #BringBackMyGirls Season 4 at @rupaulsdragcon LA!” As one of the most dramatic seasons of Drag Race to date, as a result of Plane Jane‘s feud with Amanda Tori Meating, Mirage‘s shock elimination and Q‘s competitive nature, the lack of a reunion disappointed fans.
In its place, the eliminated contestants competed in a ‘Lip Sync LaLaPaRuza Smackdown‘, with Morphine Love Dion snatching the title of ‘Queen of She Done Already Done Had Herses’ and a cash prize of $50,000.
It became the highest-rated episode on IMDB in the American franchise’s herstory. The grand finale memorably saw Nymphia Wind, Plane Jane and Sapphira Cristál vie for the crown with an original solo number and interview with RuPaul, with Nymphia and Sapphira moving on to the final lip-sync.
