Ezra Miller to Avoid Jail in Plea Bargain Agreement

Ezra Miller has reached a plea deal with prosecutors that will spare him jail time on burglary charges in Vermont.Miller, 30, is expected to appear in a Bennington County Superior Court this Friday where they will plead guilty to a single charge of unlawful trespass for the May 2022 incident, according to a report in the VT Digger.Miller, who is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns, had been facing charges of burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and petty larceny after they were allegedly caught on video breaking into a nearby home and stealing bottles of liquor.

Those charges will be dropped, and Miller will instead receive a suspended jail sentence of between 89 to 90 days in jail and be placed on probation for one year.

Miller will also receive a fine of $500.The Justice League star had been facing up to 15 years in prison and a fine of not more than $1,000 if convicted on the previous charges.“The initial findings indicated that several bottles of alcohol were taken from within the residence while the homeowners were not present,” Vermont State Police said in a press release at the time of the incident. “As a result of an investigation that included surveillance videos and statements, probable cause was found to charge Ezra M.

Miller with the offense of felony burglary into an unoccupied dwelling.”While the incident occurred in May, Miller was only located and served with a citation in August.
