Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English media personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. Following a brief appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2014), Collins has appeared in various television programmes including Celebrity Big Brother (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2018), and Dancing on Ice (2019). In 2019, she began starring in her own reality series and hosting a podcast on BBC Sounds.

Gemma Collins still breaks down in tears thinking about her dad Alan’s strenuous battle with Covid-19 during the holiday season last year.The 40-year-old admitted she sometimes gets emotional in public remembering what her dad went through and how much the worrying experience affected her when she realised she might lose him.

Gemma’s parents both suffered with Covid-19 over the Christmas period in 2020, however it was her dad who was sent to hospital after becoming seriously ill with the virus.

Now fortunately, he has regained a healthier state and “gets stronger every day” according to Gemma, who has him following certain instructions.
