As the UK leg of Harry Styles' Love On Tour wrapped at London's Wembley Arena last night (June 19), one member of the 90,000-strong audience instigated an emotional moment mid-show.
Mattio, an Italian fan who'd travelled to London especially for the show, caught the One Direction star's attention with a banner reading 'From Ono to Wembley: Help me come out.' Always happy to show his support for the LGBTQIA+ community, Harry made it a Pride Month to remember for Mattio as he announced him an 'officially out,' 'free man.' Watch Harry Styles help an Italian fan come out as gay at Love On Tour, Wembley Stadium, London below: Picking up a rainbow flag from another fan, Harry explained: "When I wave this flag above my head, you will officially be gay, my boy." After teasing the crowd with a series of almost-flag-raises, Harry finally held the flag above his head and announced 'You're a free man!' to rapturous applause.
This isn't the first time Harry has helped an audience member to come out, after helping a fan at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut do the same last year.
After noticing a woman holding a sign reading 'Help me come out,' Harry threw up a rainbow pride flag and announced: 'When I raise this flag you’re officially out, I heard that’s how it works...She's out!"
