I’m in love with a married man who’s in an open relationship. Is there hope for me?

We have so much history, and I’m definitely still really attracted to him. Here’s the kicker though… he’s married now. He was sort of understandingly all about his new man for a while so we drifted apart. Now, we’re hanging out again all the time, sometimes alone, and sometimes with his husband… but, I’m pretty sure I’m in love with him. He told me they have an open relationship.
So now I am wondering… Does that mean there might be hope for me to be with my friend romantically? I don’t even necessarily mind sharing him sometimes.
