Meet Apollo, who came to the SPCA of Texas in an animal cruelty seizure prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, was then fostered and has subsequently been waiting for his forever home for more than three years.

He’s come a very long way following his rough start in life and is now the most fun guy, the sweetest boy and the biggest ham you can imagine.

His biggest hope is to be adopted, finally, into his forever home. Apollo has legendary ears and a goofy smile to go along with them.

He is a mixed breed pooch who weighs in at 51 pounds, with black fur and white highlights about his snoot. He’s an active guy who would do best as the only dog in a home with children over the age of 13.
