Pride of Scotland host Nicky Campbell urges viewers to have their hankies at the ready ahead of emotional show

Pride of Scotland Awards spectacular on STV – and host Nicky Campbell says it is going to be a show to remember. Nicky, who is presenting the awards alongside Kirsty Gallacher, is both honoured and humbled to be at the helm of the star-studded event which celebrates Scotland’s unsung heroes.

The Long Lost Family star believes the glittering ceremony, which will see a host of celebrities including Alesha Dixon, Sir Jackie Stewart, James Corden and Sharleen Spiteri honouring the winners, is the perfect antidote to a challenging and heartbreaking year.

Nicky, 60, who grew up in Edinburgh, said: “I am so honoured to be hosting the Daily Record Pride of Scotland Awards, in partnership with TSB, alongside Kirsty.
