same-sex couple have spoke out about their hardship of trying to have children and are now calling for a change in the way that fertility treatment is offered on the NHS.Married pair Michelle and Jessica Mortimer-Collier wed back in 2017 and knew that they wanted to have children together.

The couple, from Bury, decided to explore what was available in February 2020 and spoke to their local GP about the possibility of undergoing IVF treatment, but were informed by the NHS that they would need to demonstrate their infertility before they would be considered eligible.
