Oh yes, there will be tears—and you need not previously be familiar with “rock star” poet Gibson’s work to be moved by their story—but Come See Me In A Good Light also serves as a reminder of the best parts of our humanity, finding resilience, humor, and radical joy in the face of an uncertain future.Bill Condon’s adaptation of the book-turned-film-turned-musical boasts some major A-list power with the Jennifer Lopez in the titular role—and, don’t get us wrong, “Jenny From The Block” has never looked (or sounded) better on screen.
