It is however, united by an unfortunate truth, that whatever your individual experience is, research suggests that by the end of it you’re at higher risk of mental health issues including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and PTSD.
Yet, despite the overwhelming amount of data exploring how and why LGBTQIA+ people are at higher risk of poor mental health, amenities to combat this aren’t as readily available.
Something as simple as how to find queer therapist can quickly become an overwhelming task, with little resources available via the NHS.
