Though celebrating the LGBTQ community will certainly contribute to making America great. Our community is strong! If there is one thing we have proven over the years, it is that we are resilient.
From Stonewall, through AIDS, we as a community have stood hand-in-hand. Today we stand united with the transgender community, and together we will fight any efforts to take us backwards.
We will fight Donald Trump and his acolytes whenever, and wherever, they try to hurt anyone in our community. We will even fight members of the Democratic Party, like Seth Moulton (D-Mass.) when he makes unsolicited and hurtful comments.
