A Florida man is facing multiple charges after police said he assaulted a child for wearing a mask at a restaurant. Police said 47-year-old Jason Copenhaver walked up to the boy who was sitting at a table wearing a mask Sunday night at Ricky T’s in Treasure Island and told him to take it off, reported WTVT-TV.

Copenhaver later told police that he had never been tested and was not sure whether he was infected with the potentially deadly novel coronavirus.
