advocate.comBounding Into Comics has really focused on the gay sex in Billy Eichner’s upcoming R-rated comedy Bros.On Twitter, the website posted a piece with the headline “Disney Actor Who Wants ‘MAGA Lunatics To Burn In Hell’ Releases Trailer For New R-Rated Gay Sex Comedy That Takes Shots At Straight People, Features Explicit Sex Acts.”In the article, the site says that Eichner is “known on social media to be extremely volatile towards his political opposition,” including some tweets of Eichner calling out former President Donald Trump.In response to the tweet, Eichner wrote, “Hey that’s me!!!”He also included that very Bros trailer in his post.
Eichner added, “This honestly makes me very excited for the BROS press tour,” capping the post off with a rainbow emoji.Bros is the first LGBTQ+ romantic comedy green-lit by a major studio.
Eichner co-wrote, produced, and is one of two male leads in the Universal Pictures film. He's the first out gay man to ever write and star in his own major studio film.
