Emmerdale’s Michelle Hardwick ups home security after homophobic death threats
Michelle Hardwick has increased the security surrounding her home, which comes after previously receiving homophobic death threats.The actress, who plays Vanessa Woodfield in the ITV soap, is married to Kate Brooks, a producer on the show.Married since 2019, the couple have a son called Teddy and recently announced they would soon welcome a baby girl into the world.Michelle has spoken about the horrific trolling her and Kate have received in the past just because they are a gay couple, telling OK! Magazine at the time: ‘There have been certain times when police have had to be called because there have been death threats.‘And when they’re mentioning your son’s name and you’re just going “really?
