The shirt worn by Colin Firth in the TV series adaptation of Pride And Prejudice is up for auction. The shirt, which became famous when Mr Darcy, played by Firth, emerged from a lake in it, is expected to fetch between £7,000 and £10,000.

Cosprop, a costume house, and Kerry Taylor Auctions announced the auction of the shirt along with over 60 other costumes from film and TV.

Firth portrayed Fitzwilliam Darcy in the 1995 BBC adaptation of Jane Austen's novel, alongside Jennifer Ehle, who played Elizabeth Bennet. Try MEN Premium now for FREE...
