Colin Firth's iconic Mr Darcy shirt from Pride and Prejudice has been sold for a massive sum at a charity auction. The wet linen shirt, which Colin wore in the famous scene where he emerges from a pond, was snapped up by one lucky fan.The outfit, including boots, trousers, and waistcoat, worn by Colin's character Mr.
Darcy in the 1995 BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, was expected to fetch up to $12,700 at auction. The scene, where a dashing Mr.
Darcy surprises Elizabeth Bennet (played by Jennifer Ehle), his future love interest, is considered one of the most memorable moments on UK TV.The Lights Camera Auction sale also showcased other amazing items.
Among them was a Christian Dior dress from the 1950s that Madonna wore in her 1996 film Evita, which was expected to fetch up to $76,000.
