LGBT activist after his sudden death. There has been an outpouring of grief for Liam Jones, 29, who was the former chairman of Aberdeen Four Pillars - which supports people in the LGBT community in the Granite City - after his death yesterday.
During his time at the helm, Liam was instrumental in helping to bring the first pride parade to Aberdeen in 2018 which filled the city's main thoroughfare with colour and song.
Liam's death comes just a week after the tragic passing of another prominent Scots LGBT activist Leeze Lawrence.The 39-year-old was group convener for Out for Independence - the official LGBTQ+ wing of the SNP - and also worked as a producer for the BBC.Her death was said to be a 'huge shock' and she was mourned across.
