Far-right internet personalities Diamond and Silk appeared to call for a military overthrow Friday evening a short time after The Supreme Court rejected a longshot bid by the state of Texas to overturn President-elect Joe Biden’s election win in four battleground states.
The Texas lawsuit had been backed by Trump, as well as 18 GOP state attorneys general and 126 House Republicans. In a brief one-page order Friday evening, the justices summarily refused the unusual case Texas filed Monday against four swing states whose voters favored Biden. “Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections,” the court wrote in its unsigned order.
