Full-frontal male nudity in movies and on TV has officially gone mainstream, and nowhere is the trend more fully embraced than on HBO Max’s new show Minx. The series centers around an ambitious, female editor (Ophelia Lovibond) in the 1970s who sets out to create the feminist magazine of her dreams.
She winds up partnering with a San Fernando Valley pornographer, who convinces her to create the first ever erotic magazine for women, complete with full monty centerfolds.Actor Taylor Zakhar Perez plays the magazine’s inaugural cover model, and apparently a promo clip he posted to Instagram was deemed too racy for the app.

However, a large graphic reading “New Episodes” covers his groin. After the video was taken down, the actor shared the notice he received from the app. “We don’t allow people to facilitate, encourage or coordinate sexual activity on Instagram,” it reads.“Guess you’ll have to go to @HBOMax to watch,” he added, perhaps spinning it into an even more effective promotion for the series. It’s possible the removal was due to Instagram’s trigger-happy algorithm that scans for nudity and sexual content, or that it was human error. The same clip appears uncensored on the show’s official @minxonmax account: A post shared by Minx (@minxonmax)Perez also re-uploaded it to his account, where it is still available: A post shared by TAYLOR ZAKHAR PEREZ (@taylorzakharperez)New episodes of Minx air Thursdays on HBO Max..
