Back in 2020, Jennifer Lopez had taken to Instagram to talk about a film named 'Draw With Me'. The film was especially close to the popstar's heart as it was based on her trans nibling (a gender-neutral term for a niece/nephew) Brendon Scholl and their story.
Ever since the release of the documentary short, the film has made noise at film festivals around the world, was screened at the United Nations on Transgender Health and now is an official Oscar entry in the Documentary Short Subject category.
