Responding to public pressure, the Los Angeles Dodgers organization has reconsidered its decision to exclude the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a charity and performance group, from its Pride Night event.
The Dodgers have now issued an apology and extended an invitation to honor the group for their valuable contributions to the LA community in the upcoming Pride Night celebration on June 16.
In an official statement, the Dodgers expressed their gratitude for the diverse feedback received from various communities, as well as the constructive dialogue within their organization and discussions with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
The team conveyed sincere apologies to the group, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and their loved ones for any distress caused by their initial decision.
