Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in Queens, a borough of New York City, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan. The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He bought the Miss Universe brand of beauty pageants in 1996, and sold it in 2015. He produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television series, from 2003 to 2015. As of 2020, Forbes estimated his net worth to be $2.1 billion.[

Arlington Pride Burbs and venues keep Pride alive throughout DFW RICH LOPEZ | Staff writerrich@dallasvoice.om Pride is everywhere all at once this weekend — or at least these few places, this weekend and beyond.

While Dallas Pride at Fair Park may be the centerpiece for queer celebration, Tarrant County, Dallas ’burbs and even some out-of-the-box venues get in on the rainbow festivities.

From Deep Ellum to Fort Worth, Pride obviously knows no boundaries in North Texas. Although every year, it seems like Pride is more important than ever, this time it’s not just about celebrating our communities but showing up to remind us of that old adage: We’re here, we’re queer, get used to it. Friday, June 2: Ride Your Pride, Double Wide If you want drag queens, live music and “queer shit,” head to Deep Ellum for DW’s Pride kick-off party.

Live music includes queer Southern rock band Thelma and the Sleaze, synth-pop country artist Pelvis Wrestley from Austin and local artists Barbie Bank Rose and Kameron Ross.
