Racist Cop Who Said It’s ‘Unfortunate’ COVID-19 Didn’t Kill All Black People, Has Been Fired

A Louisiana officer has been fired after posting a racist remark on social media about coronavirus and African Americans. The Kaplan Police Department confirmed officer Steven Aucoin’s firing in a Facebook post on May 15, saying it was “aware of the situation” and dismissed Aucoin after an internal investigation into comments the officer made online just hours earlier, The Olympian reported.
