And RuPaul says it’s going to be for those in the audience ready for some fun on their TVs. “Now, more than ever before, people want to have fun, and Celebrity Lingo is here to serve it up generously,” RuPaul said.This marks the fourth version of Lingo to air in the U.S., having originally premiered in 1987.
And it’s the third iteration to play in the UK. A version based on the U.S. game show premiered there back in 1988, then was rebooted in 2021, and is still currently airing with comedian Adil Ray as host.Celebrity Lingo will premiere on ITV later this year and is set to air seven hour-long episodes, according to The Mirror.
