Kesha has vowed to “always fight for equality” in a heartfelt Pride Month message sent to fans on social media. “HAPPY MFKN PRIDE BABES!!” she wrote on 15 June. “I will always fight for equality.
We fight, we do not give up, we celebrate ourselves, we vote, we take the high road, we hold hope and we stand in love.” The ‘Fine Line’ singer shared the message ahead of her performance at ‘Cant Cancel Pride’, a benefit concert held to support LGBTQ+ organisations that rely on Pride Month.
This year’s show featured performances from Big Freedia, Adam Lambert, Ciara and Brandi Carlile, among others.
